Herriot Museum
Situated in the actual 'Skeldale House' at No 23 Kirkgate, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, Hambleton District Council's millennium project explores veterinary science and takes visitors on a journey back to the 1940's. It is a unique tribute to Alf Wight, famous author of the James Herriot novels and is the only centre of its kind in the UK dedicated to Veterinary science.

  Heartbeat
Heartbeat is a highly popular TV series produced by Yorkshire Television in the UK. Its setting, some of the early storylines, and many of the characters, were taken from the Constable novels by Nicholas Rhea.

If you are able to visit Goathland and enjoy looking around all the locations and visiting the shops full of merchandise, then you are bound enjoy the Heartbeat Exhibition in Whitby.
The exhibition is full of Heartbeat memorabilia and information. It includes many photos of the cast as well as some lovely pictures of Nick and Jo Rowan's wedding.

The walls are full of information about the actors and characters, as well as storylines and countries in which Heartbeat is shown. You can also see costumes for the characters: Nick, Gina, Claude and Jackie (when they're not in use for filming). There are also many props on display as well as a compilation video of the Heartbeat story.
