Otterington Park
Touring Park Rules
DOGS
We would like to remind all dog owners that dogs should be kept under control on a short lead whilst on the caravan park or nature walks. No dogs in the play area please, nor round the fishing lake. A Dog Exercise area is available at the entrance to the Park
Dog dirt must be picked up and placed in the rubbish bins.
CHILDREN
It is the responsibility of parents to supervise their own children in the play area, and elsewhere on the park. Children under the age of 18 must not be allowed to go round the nature walks or to the fishing lake unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
We do ask that children under the age of 13 are not allowed to use the toilet block and showers/bath without a responsible adult accompanying them.
PLAY AREA
The Play area is not to be used between sunset/dusk and 8.00 am. No Dogs.
RUBBISH DISPOSAL
Only normal domestic refuse should be placed in our rubbish skip. No awnings, domestic appliances, carpets, car batteries, televisions, fridges or large items are to be placed in the skip. All these and other items should be either taken home or taken to the Council tip at Yafforth Road, Northallerton for disposal. IF IT DOESN’T FIT INTO YOUR DUSTBIN AT HOME, PLEASE DO NOT BRING IT HERE TO PUT INTO OUR BINS! Please make use of our recycling bins for newspapers, tins, and glass.
SMOKING
We draw particular attention to the fact that the whole amenity block, including shower rooms, toilets, reception and laundry is a no smoking area and ask all visitors to comply.
PRIVACY
Please respect your neighbours’ privacy by not walking across their pitches or round the back of their caravans. Keep to roadways and paths.
WILD LIFE
Damage to the wild life or their habitats, is illegal and will result in persons responsible being evicted from the Park, and being prosecuted. No dogs in or around the fishing lake.
GAZEBOS
Gazebos are not allowed due to fire regulations.
WINDBREAKS
Windbreaks may be used whilst a caravan is occupied, but must be removed at the end of your stay.
Thank you for your help and co-operation.
