Grounds
-
The park is large and spacious with over 20 acres of land available for the use of our customers. Most of the park is flat, apart from the sides of the Howe Beck, and part of the field away from the fishing lake.
- Most of the nature walks are wide level grass pathways which are kept mown.
- There are steep paths on the nature walk next to the Howe Beck. These paths vary from being covered with woodchip, to road planings and gravel. There are a number of steps down to the fishing lake from this pathway. However, there is also a gently sloping path over a wide bridge to the fishing lake. The ground can sometimes be soft here if there has been a lot of rain.
- There is a children's play area which is predominantly grass, but with a woodchip safety surface under the larger pieces of equipment.
- The distance from the Reception Office to the main road entrance of the caravan park is approximately 400 metres.
- There is a separate area where older children can kick a ball.
